After Seattle, we had just enough time to get a full night’s sleep, unpack, and re-pack before heading to the airport for Copenhagen. Unlike my experience in Seattle, I LOVED Copenhagen. We spent a total of 5 full days there and it was the perfect amount of time — we got everything we wanted to get done from our list and I still had ample time to shop. It must be the fashionista in me, but sampling the local shopping scene is probably my favorite thing to do in any foreign city I visit. I got to visit common European high street stores that we don’t have stateside like Arket, Weekday, Monki, and Vero Moda, and also Scandi-specific designer stores like Acne Studios (and Acne Archives, the brand’s outlet outpost). On our very last day we even stumbled upon a Won Hundred and Maria Black sample sale! Safe to say the shopping in CPH was goood.
Since I ended up bringing two thick coats that took up most of the space in my Away suitcase, I needed to pack lightly. You can see as the week progressed that I ended up repeating some pieces. If you’re interested, here’s a breakdown of everything I packed for my trip:
5 tops (4 sweaters, 1 bodysuit)
3 pairs of pants
2 coats
1 denim jacket
1 jumpsuit
1 pair of boots
1 pair of sneakers
1 beanie
1 bag
