I’ve been branching out more and more with warm tones this past Fall and Winter, with coats, sweaters, shoes, and accessories. But believe it or not, this is my first foray into brown pants — actually pants in any color at all. Not sure why it’s taken me so long, but there’s just something about wearing color pants that feels a little more committed than say, a color pullover or coat. (My guess is I can rely on blue jeans to tone down any color on top, but don’t have that option when it’s on the bottom.) But here we are! And I couldn’t be more excited. Combined these Everlane pants with all my favorite pieces of the moment, including this white denim jacket and glove flats, which by the way are sooo comfortable. I snagged them after reading a review saying that they’re more comfortable than the original (and way more expensive) Martiniano version, and honestly for $80, these shoes have already paid for themselves. I wore them almost exclusively in London and near daily for work.
P.S. For reference, these pants run big, so I sized down to a 00 regular (short is sold out) and had them hemmed, although the waist is still loose for me.
