Can’t believe we’re already halfway through summer! This season, I’ve been making a conscious effort to re-wear all my summer clothes from years prior. (Fun fact: almost everything I packed for my Palm Springs trip was from last year!). Summer is probably my favorite season to shop for, so the proportion of warm weather clothes I have to actual warm weather days is a bit skewed. This year, I’ve decided that if I’m welcoming yet another summer piece into my wardrobe, it needs to offer something different. Enter these khaki pants. It’s been years since I’ve last touched khaki pants, but as soon as I saw the single oversized, asymmetrically-placed button, I knew they’d be a good addition to my wardrobe. They’re basic (in the best way) and classic, but with just enough of a novelty factor to feel fresh and exciting. We’ll see how well I can keep up this re-wearing, (almost) no-shopping challenge for the second half of summer!
