Spent the weekend basking in the sun in San Diego. The weather was just what the doctor ordered — even in bare legs, this outfit was too warm as the sun went down. On Saturday, we drove 2 hours into the desert to Anza-Borrego State Park to see the wildflower super bloom. I’m not usually one to plan trips around natural events, but our timing couldn’t have been more perfect. After learning about the rare occurrence a few days prior, we cleared our itinerary and caught the peak of the flower explosion, completely by accident. Sometimes, a little spontaneity goes a long way!
