My current uniform from work to weekend— such an easy ‘fit to throw on and run some errands.Speaking of errands, a couple of times a year I go through and obsessively clean out my closet and resell or donate pieces I don’t wear anymore. In the past I’ve either gone in store to a resale retailer or listed my clothes using the Poshmark app. While the former is a great way for getting rid of clothes instantly (especially trendy, fast fashion goods), a lot of the time, they won’t take all of your clothes, or for a price you’re comfortable with. On the other hand, Poshmark is great for being able to list your own prices so you can get a better deal on higher end things that still have the original tags attached, but the downside is that it can take months for a piece to sell.
Twice is the perfect medium. Twice is a website that buys your gently used clothes, shoes, and bags to resell in their marketplace. The thing I love about them is that they list out all the brands they buy, plus how much they’ll buy them for, so your chances of reselling pieces from those brands are pretty high. While I’ve known about them since my college days, I finally got a chance to try them out this past weekend at their first ever pop-up in San Francisco, and I was not disappointed! I sold 11 pieces for $35, which I got right away through PayPal. I really recommend checking them out if you haven’t already! I know I’ll be using them again!
