I can’t remember the last time I had such a busy weekend. Saturday and Sunday morning were reserved for slowly packing and moving things from my old apartment in Davis to the house I’ll be living in until graduation. Then Sunday afternoon, I rushed back to the Bay so I could attend the Alameda Point Antiques Faire, which only comes around once a month. I’ll have a post about that soon.

While driving to the new house, I stumbled upon this adorable little community garden with towering sunflowers, so naturally I had to pull over and capture it. Then, with the same top, I quickly changed into a dressier outfit for a night out. Slim khaki trousers are a great alternative to skirts and dresses for when I feel like dressing up. I initially bought these for work, but find myself reaching for them for other occasions as well. I’ve been on the lookout for a pair of pleated and tapered ones, if anyone has any suggestions?
