It’s been awhile! Since I last updated, I vacationed in Japan, started a new role at POPSUGAR, and traveled to Seattle to train for said new role. And to top it off, my birthday is coming up this weekend!

But back to Japan for a minute. I loved the shopping in Tokyo! Unlike when I visited Hong Kong last year, there actually weren’t as many super cheap, super trendy items as I was expecting, which made the hunt — and ultimate discovery — of them that much more thrilling. After the first couple of days of seeing what the girls were wearing around town and knowing what was probably possible to find in a store somewhere, I set a goal to leave with a PVC bag, tortoiseshell hoop earrings, and a cute phone case. Happy to report I packed all three of those things in my suitcase home! 😀

P.S. In the spirit of “transparency,” here’s a little secret: David came up with today’s blog post title! Out of all the things I do for the blog, coming up with the titles is probably the thing I struggle with (and dislike) the most.
