Today we’re ringing in Sunkissed Steph’s third blogoversary! As always, thank you all for tuning in and for continuing to follow along! Your support means the world to me.
I’ve surprised myself with how much my style has evolved since I started this blog three years ago. Back then, I would have used completely different terms to describe my style—feminine and girly? Sometimes. A bit boho? Sure. But this past year I’ve noticed a tangible shift as I get closer to pinpointing my ideal style and subsequently attempting to evoke that every time I get dressed. A lot of it has to do with learning to embrace what my style isn’t. Bright colors? No thanks. Girly silhouettes? I’ll pass. These days, I find myself more in line with an urban minimal aesthetic. To me, that means elevated basics, a stark color palette, and lots of stripes. So this year, instead of promising variety like I did in last year’s post, I’m declaring consistency as I hone my style even more. Hope you’ll stick around— here’s to another year!P.S. I got a haircut.
P.P.S. This dress makes me think midi dresses can work on petite girls like me after all.
