It’s safe to say balloon pants currently have a chokehold on me. I thought I’d be all set with the cream pair I picked up in Tokyo, but then I started craving something darker to pair with my light-colored tops. After some trial and error, this chocolate pair from Mango ended up being the most petite-friendly — plus, love that it’s 100% cotton. Since it’s so voluminous, I prefer balancing it with something minimal-coverage up top. This halter top I got custom-made in Vietnam two winters ago was the perfect refined-but-sexy option for a recent afternoon up in Sonoma, and I’ve also worn the pants with a scarf top for dinner and drinks in LA!
