Okay, I’m still not over butter yellow! Squeezing in the last month or so of wear before the trend inevitably dies with the start of fall. Also taking the opportunity to wear a few of my other favorite summer pieces: chunky bangles, basket bags, and my new vintage Levi’s shorts. After getting a longer, more structured pair last summer, I realized I also needed something a bit looser and slouchier for that effortless appeal.

I ended up scouring Depop and scoring this pair for 20 bucks! Depop is definitely the way to go for vintage Levi’s — there are so many options at all sorts of price points, and the more you search, the better the algorithm gets at learning what you like. I purposely went up two sizes for these shorts than I normally would in my vintage Levi’s sizing (these are a true 28 with a tag size of 32), and they are a tad looser around the waist than I was expecting, but I’ve learned that I’d much rather wear something that’s too big than too tight, especially when it comes to denim. These are going to be in my closet for years to come!
