layered necklaces
Vintage rhinestone necklace, SwellMayde drop bar necklace, Jeweliq cuff
Dedicating this post to all things shiny, sparkly, and gold. AKA: my weakness. My affair with jewelry has long been documented on this blog— anything from chunky and turquoise to gold and delicate. It’s the one thing I don’t think twice about splurging on, and every piece I’ve added to my collection holds a special place in my heart. So it’s only fitting that I now work in the jewelry industry! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I now work at Jeweliq managing social media, where I’ve been for a couple of months. Jeweliq is the online destination for trendy, fun, and bright pieces— plus everything is under $25! Can’t beat that.
I’m obsessed with both the necklaces above. The vintage one I scored at the Alameda Antiques Faire a couple of weekends ago. I always head straight for the jewelry at vintage shops or flea markets. This one is perfect: it features a V shape, which is ideal for layering with other necklaces and it was only five bucks! I think my search is finally over for the perfect rhinestone necklace. I literally haven’t taken the drop necklace off since I received it last week from Aimee over at SwellMayde. I had been searching for something just like it, so when her shop finally went live, I pounced! I love supporting fellow bloggers, so do check out her new shop full of pretty, dainty pieces.
Check back tomorrow for the full outfit post!
