For someone who generally doesn’t like bright colors, I’m surprisingly drawn to magenta bougainvillea bushes, and always have been. It’s my dream to one day own a white-washed mediterranean style house with a huge bougainvillea bush framing the entryway. Which is why when we happened across this scene in Cow Hollow this past weekend, I had to stop to take some impromptu photos, even though this wasn’t the outfit I had initially planned for this week’s post. What can I say— when life hands you blossoming bougainvillea against a white wall… you stop and take photos.
