I had never been to Big Sur before, so an afternoon at the Big Sur River Inn was at the top of my list for our trip down the coast. These adirondack chairs are laid out in the middle of the river for all to use, and it’s the perfect day to cool down on a hot summer day with some popsicles and beer.

The Big Sur River Inn is a favorite of my family's! We went there for the first time when i was in 5th grade and now we love it. It's my favorite part of California, and as an east coaster you'd think i'd say LA or San Diego or something but noooppe…i love the woodsy vibe of Big Sur 🙂

That's awesome!!! Yeah, I can't believe I've never been there before— it's only about a 2 hour drive down the coast! I absolutely loved it and wish I could have spent more time there. Do you have plans to return anytime soon?
I have no idea where that is, but it looks like a really cool and relaxing area – away from the LA heat.

You should definitely visit if you get the chance! It's about a 2 hour drive south of SF!
