I’ve only ever visited Paris in the summer time, and it’s been my dream to come back right at the turn of fall when the leaves start to crisp and color. The foliage against the picturesque cityscape couldn’t be summed up more than in these photos, which we were lucky enough to capture on one of two beautiful days we experienced before the rain started. There’s something extra romantic about walking around the city right before a sudden downpour— and even more romantic cozying up in a tiny cafe to wait it out.
The dress has been in my closet for awhile now, waiting for the perfect opportunity to come out and play, and as soon as I booked my flight over, I knew exactly where I wanted to photograph it. I found out that it works surprisingly well with Converse, and I can’t wait to pull it out in a few months for the holiday parties ahead.
